Peter has been practicing architecture both internationally and locally. Since the founding of AAPIDESIGN in 2007, he has continued to be influential in our creative process and leading our design team from conceptualization to the realization of our creative vision. He also possesses 30+ years' worth of construction knowledge, building code compliance, local authority approval processes as well as design & planning processes. He is also a member of the Fiji Architects Registration Board and served as the past president of the Fiji Association of Architects and the Vice President. Peter is also an appointed Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) Principal Consultant for Infrastructure and Planning (Resort & Foreshore Development, Rezoning & Subdivision) and Sustainable Architecture. Peter is also an executive member of the Construction Industry Council (CIC).

Tualagi recently joined AAPiDesign having had experience as an Architectural Designer with our associate office in Australia, EJE. Much of his professional development was working within the Pacific with projects in Fiji, Tonga, and Papua New Guinea - designing and implementing to the relevant construction systems and means of efficiency. He incorporates sustainable and creative solutions into all his projects. Tualagi has a Masters of Architecture and is also the recipient of the 2022 Architects Medallion for the highest-achieving graduate from each of the four schools of architecture in the State of New South Wales.

Frank recently joined AAPiDesign having had experience as a registered Architect with AIA. Frank graduated with a Bachelor of Design Architecture and a Master of Architecture with Distinction from the University of Newcastle. He has worked as a graduate of architecture with Drew Heath Architects, a Project Architect at EJE Architecture working on a wide array of projects in Australia and abroad. With responsibilities for the conception and realization of the client's expectations in delivering a successful project. Frank also worked as a Casual Academic at the University of Newcastle Callaghan, tutoring first-year Bachelor of Architecture students.

Shyal joined the AAPiDesign team in 2016, has served a number of years in accounts and is currently the Manager Finance. With more than 7 years of skilled experience focusing on overall management of day-to-day company finances, including tasks of assisting and preparing Financial Statements, Project Budgeting, Tax and Superannuation lodgment, Contract and Internal policies as well as performing Human Resources duties. Shyal has a Master’s Degree in Professional Accounting from the University of the South Pacific. She has also attended a short course in Contract Negotiation & Dispute Resolution from Engineers Australia through Engineers Fiji.

Robert joined AAPiDesign in 2007 as a Senior Architectural Technician in 2008. He has varied experience in all fields of architecture such as residential, tourism & hospitality, commercial office space development as well as industrial facilities. Robert has had extensive experience in major Tourism & Hospitality developments even prior to AAPiDesign and has experience in the development of briefs and planning process, documentation as well as construction supervision/project management of medium to large scale tourism development. He has also had working relations with Mr. Rankin for over 15+ years.

Joshua joined AAPiDesign in 2008 as an Architectural Technician and was appointed as Architectural Graphics Technician in 2010. He was appointed Senior Architectural Technician in 2022. He has had significant experience in tourism & hospitality and resort development projects, one of which involves master planning, documentation, project management & construction supervision of the recently completed Pearl of the South Pacific Resort & Spa in 2016. He was involved from its inception documenting and assisting in the 3D Model development of the project besides management. He continues to be involved in other significant projects at AAPiDesign. He has also attended a short course in Contract Negotiation & Dispute Resolution from Engineers Australia through Engineers Fiji.
